General Information
Kick off Your Heels and grab Your Sneakers will be a local run or walk 5K or 10K that will work to raise funds to pay off meal balances for children at schools in the Augusta, GA area. Depending on how much we raise will determine how many balances we can pay off! Cash donations will be accepted at packet pickup or race day only.
Come join Run the Tangents Timing on May 10, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. to give thanks through running and giving back to the community!
Please note that there are no refunds and there will be a 30 minute weather delay (if needed).
START/FINISH
The 5k and 10K will start and finish at Lake Olmstead Trailhead, 1 Milledge Road, Augusta, Georgia and will be on the Augusta Canal Towpath.
REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUPOnline registration will remain open right up until 5 minutes before race time. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by April 10, 2024. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Packet pickup will be determined.Registration prices
- 5K or 10K without a shirt are $20 through race day
- 5K with a shirt is $25 through 2/10/2025, $30 through 04/10/2025 and $35 through race day
- 10K with a shirt is $30 through 2/10/2024, $35 through 04/10/2025 and $40 through race day
Note: All runners who register by April 10, 2025 will be guaranteed to receive an official race shirt! Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first come-first serve basis until they are gone.Age Groups and AwardsAge Groups are 14 and Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 - 79, and 80 + male and female plus top 3 overall. Awards will be determined closer to the event date. Chip Timed with awards based on Gun Times.
ParkingParking will be available along Milledge Road.
